During the two ceramics minors I followed, I got to learn more about the magic of ceramics. Knowledge about clay, production, the chemistry of making glazes from commodities, firing and finishing methods.

The first minor focussed on learning how to make glazes and the complex chemistry of the materials.The second minor was a self-initiated research study on sinter engobes, color and texture.

The project "Serving the Landscape" was based on the research study of the minor.
